Vidyo, a Screen Recorder for iOS
Vidyo, a screen recording utility for iPhone and iPad available at $4.99 on the App Store, seems like one of those apps that will soon be removed by Apple. By simulating an AirPlay Mirroring connection to the app itself, Vidyo allows you to capture your device’s screen even when you’re not using the app –

Current state of Outliners - Software - MPU Talk
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Outliner for the Mac that also syncs to iPadOS? Ideally I’d like to be able to use the outline for presentations on the iPad having (mostly) written it on the Mac, so increasing font size and ease of use there is important. Printing outlines is occasionally important to me. Omnioutliner seems like a safe bet, but I do resent an $80 upgrade from essentials so I can get bold 🙂 and there has been some criticism of lack of development. W...

Discourse discussion on the subject
I am once again foolishly attempting to standardize the formatting of a tag. I presume there’s been some discussion about which is preferable etc. Standard formatting makes it easier to discover actual data entry issues and direct folks more cleanly to things needing human intervention and investigation (phone numbers missing digits, etc). I have a set of validator rules that standardize to the all dashes form but that just happened to be the most common in the dataset I first pulled (King Cou...

Tiled web map
A tiled web map, slippy map or tile map is a map displayed in a web browser by seamlessly joining dozens of individually requested image or vector data files. It is the most popular way to display and navigate maps, replacing other methods such as Web Map Service (WMS) which typically display a single large image, with arrow buttons to navigate to nearby areas. Google Maps was one of the first major mapping sites to use this technique. The first tiled web maps used raster tiles, before the emergence of vector tiles.
