If you are considering pursuing a career in accounting, the first step is often to memorize a bunch of boring acronyms. So instead of GAAP, IFRS, and MACRS we thought we’d teach you about one your buddy uses as he or she revs out their modified civic with a fart can exhaust: VTEC. Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control is an electronic and mechanical system found in some of the best Honda (and Acura) engines. In simple English - the system uses two camshaft profiles and hydraulically selects between them allowing for maximum engine performance at every rpm range; one for efficiency and another for performance driving. Unlike the aforementioned Civic, the subject car is unmodified and shows just 34,000 miles from new. Inside you will find two seats, a manual transmission and a motorcycle style gauge instrument that revs all the way to 8 grand. So which of you accountants will say no thanks...

Especially when see ones that we know will never be sold here. The fact is they’re just so much cooler and more importantly, faster than SUVs. It used to be pilling in the old family wagon and going on a road trip was an American right of passage. So, what happened? Did SUVs and whatever a sportback is make us forget all about the wagon? Do we just need a little reminder? If that’s the case, we have the perfect car: This 1995 Mercedes-Benz AMG E36 Sport Break. Classic Car Chasers on Instagram: "Is this yellow Ferrari the ultimate Red Head? 🤔 . . . The Testarossa name is the thing of legends in the car world. Rightfully so - as it refers to the 250 TR race cars that went onto to win 10 World Sports Car Championship races including the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958, 1960, and 1961 and looked damn good doing so. But time went on and so did the Testarossa name as it came to refer the 12-cylinder mid engine Italian stallion that went on to represent the 80s. The evolution didn’t stop there as the Testarossa warped into the 512TR and eventually il finale - the 512M. And while we love all of them - we have to admit that the 512 TR is our favorite. Somehow Pininfarina was able to refine the design just the right amount where you retained the absurdity of the 80s car but with a bit more elegance. It also didn’t go overboard (ahem 512 M). Beauty was also more than skin deep as the 512 got a new injection system, a boost to 421 hp and hit the gym to drop a few LBs. All of this added up to a 0-60mph time of 4.8s and a top speed of 195mph. So we don’t really see much of an argument here but bring on the debate. Is the 512 the Goldilocks of the Testarossa series or is it too hot or too cold? 😎 _____________________________________________ 🚘 1995 Ferrari 512 TR 💯 Giallo Modena over Black interior 📰 @AutobedrijfWimPrins 📸 @AutobedrijfWimPrins 💵 Offered at €139,500 _______________________________________________ #design #automotive #vintage #drive #classic #classiccar #collect #icon #classiccarchasers #carphotography #forsale #drivetastefully #maserati #italian #ferrari #512 #90s #v12 #luxury #coupe #modernclassic".
