This car was also offered in estate form, a version which continued for six months when the saloon range was phased out in autumn 2000. The C43 AMG is the perfect example of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Under the angular sheet metal, this C is carrying a 4.3-liter eight-cylinder engine good for an output of 306 hp and impressive performance on the road: 0-100 kph in 5.7 seconds and a (limited) top speed of 250 kph. AMG are renowned for producing some of the best sports saloons and estates in the world and this model is certainly one of them.
