There have been trucks with more capacity over the years but as far as physical girth goes, the one and only Terex Titan ever made rules the roost. 66 feet long and 56 feet tall with the bed up, the truck weighted 1.2 million pounds when loaded. The rig rolled on 12 foot tall tires and the driver sat 20 feet in the air. It had all wheel steering and was used for decades in mines. Horsepower was perhaps it’s most impressive attribute. Powered by a 10,343ci two stroke GM diesel locomotive engine, it sucked down 5 gallons of fuel per mile. The diesel made 3,300hp, weighed more than 35,000lbs and was tasked with spinning an electric generator that actually powered the truck up and down the road.
