Hi #tools I’m Chris, co-founder and CEO at With. With is a virtual office platform where remote teams can work together. It enables the informal, yet powerful kinds of collaborations that yield great ideas and build high performing teams. Remote workers have made do with tools that were built for in-person work but there is a real workforce revolution happening and it’s time we had remote work centered tools. Teams are using With today for activities that require synchronous collaboration. Things like office hours, team time togetherness, social bonding activities, stand-ups, workshops, interviews, and new employee onboarding. Believe it or not some teams spend the whole day together. If you are team async don’t be afraid, With has all kinds of ways to control your presence. Some things to try: • Invite people to use it with you either by email or by using the share link in the room menu. • Flip off your camera and try one of the over 100 different avatars you can select from the “W” menu in the lower left corner. • Try the collaborative screen sharing tool that lets everyone share their screen at the same time. • Test out different wallpapers from the mini wallpaper control in the upper right corner. • Add a Youtube video, sticky note, or a whiteboard. Drag and drop images, videos, and docs from your desktop into the space. • Embed web apps by pasting their embed code or web URL in the action field (:blitzschnell:️ menu). Try collapad.io which is a collaborative editor or add a Miro board. • Rooms are persistent so anything you add will be there the next time you visit. • Make as many rooms as you want from the Dashboard found in the “w” menu.
