The 'Reader View' extension is designed to enhance readability by stripping away clutter like buttons, ads, and background images, and by adjusting the text size, contrast, and layout. It uses Mozilla's Readability library to provide a powerful readability experience similar to the Firefox built-in reader view, and it has a user interface that is very similar to the Firefox version. This extension offers a toolbar with many useful tools for reading, including a text highlighter, a note-taking widget, and the ability to edit the content on the fly and save it in HTML, Markdown, or screenshot format. You can even print the modified version or send it by email.
