They even set up a code with him and his mom to signal it was safe to open the door: “Lucky lucky.” Then they grew suspicious. The teen had a history with the police. It was September 2022, and 17-year-old Arion Kurtaj had been arrested twice earlier that year for his alleged role in a hacking group that stole data and demanded ransoms from some of the world’s biggest tech companies. Kurtaj, who is autistic, was released both times. The second time, that March, he had been let go under the condition that he stay offline.

Transport for London's (TfL) computer systems have been targeted in an ongoing cyber attack. It said there was no evidence customer data had been compromised and there was currently no impact on TfL services. Insiders have told BBC London they have been asked to work at home if possible, and that it is the transport provider's backroom systems at the corporate headquarters that are mainly affected.
London hospital attackers started leaking blood test data
Cybercriminals behind attacks disrupting at least five London hospitals leaked nearly 400 gigabytes of data, which reportedly included blood test information. Qilin ransomware started leaking data stolen from England National Health Service (NHS) partner Synnovis labs. According to reports from the BBC, the data includes patient names, dates of birth, NHS numbers, descriptions of blood tests, and other information.
