Famed British auction house Christie’s and EON Productions are currently an amazing auction event called Sixty Years of James Bond: an official two-part charity sale celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic spy film franchise that boasts 60 iconic lots spanning the 25 Bond films. The 60 lots, split between an online and a live auction, include a treasure trove of Bond goodies, including Timothy Dalton’s tuxedo from License To Kill, a Casino Royale script signed by the actors, producers and screenwriters; and even one of the Day of the Dead skeletons from Spectre. But the vast majority of items come from the most recent Bond film, No Time To Die – the 25th in the franchise and Daniel Craig’s last stint as the famous fictional British agent – including the Aston Martin DB5 stunt car from the thrilling opening scene, which we reckon might just be the coolest Bond car ever. One of only eight built specifically for James Bond and, to date, the only DB5 stunt car to be released for public sale, this was exclusively engineered and handcrafted by Aston Martin’s Special Projects division for No Time To Die, Christie’s explains. All the DB5 stunt cars were modified in different ways, with this car being one of a few to include the bespoke No Time To Die gadgets and mocked-up side panel damage. It’s not just some mocked-up shell: this is the real deal; as close as one can get to driving a functional Bond car. Cool, right? What’s the catch? Well, you might technically be able to drive it, but it was sold as a ‘non-runner’ collector’s item and is not approved for use on any public roads or homologated. This is just a technicality – I mean, you’d probably be crazy to drive around something so rare on the streets anyway… Very expensive donuts. A bunch of vehicles from No Time To Die were up for grabs – most of which smashed their auction estimates – including Bond’s 1981 Aston Martin V8 (which went for 630,000 GBP), Nomi’s Aston Martin DBS Superleggera (403,200 GBP), the Triumph Scrambler motorbike from the Italy opening sequence (138,600 GBP) plus two of the villainous Land Rover Defenders from the Norway chase scene (which didn’t beat their estimates and sold for 163,800 and 189,000 GBP respectively). Other cool lots at the Sixty Years of James Bond live auction included the OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition worn by Daniel Craig in the film (226,800 GBP) and a five-night stay at the luxurious Goldeneye estate in Jamaica where Ian Fleming wrote all fourteen Bond books (52,920 GBP). The report from the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation also recommends that Congress authorize funding to pay for hostage families to visit Washington to meet with U.S. government officials, as well as to provide support — whether clothing, temporarily housing or medical care — for returning hostages. The annual research report is based on interviews with 60 people, including former hostages and wrongful detainees and their relatives as well as former government officials. It was released amid heightened public attention on the plight of American hostages and detainees, thanks in part to the continued imprisonment in Russia of WNBA star Brittney Griner on drug-related charges. The U.S. has been trying to bring home Griner another American jailed in Russia, Marine veteran Paul Whelan, but those efforts have so far not been successful. RELATED There have been some high-profile releases in the last six months, including an April prisoner swap with Russia that secured the release of Marine veteran Trevor Reed and a deal with the Taliban that freed an American contractor, Mark Frerichs, who had been abducted in Afghanistan more than two years ago. Two Americans, including an oil executive, were released from Venezuelan government custody in March, though Caracas is continuing to hold numerous other Americans. In addition, family members of detainees have demonstrated in recent months outside the White House and in New York, and a mural unveiled this summer in Washington depicting faces of Americans jailed abroad added to the publicity. Yet more than 60 Americans are still being held hostage or wrongfully detained, and the report’s authors say such cases appear tougher to resolve than they were a decade ago. Nearly half of the U.S. nationals who are still detained have been held for five years or longer, the report says. The report also says the number of countries holding Americans captives has grown over the last decade, totaling 19 in 2022. Seventy-five percent of currently detained Americans are being held by China, Russia, Iran and Venezuela, the report says. The report makes 10 recommendations, including empowering and funding the Hostage Recovery Fusion Cell, a unit based at FBI headquarters but comprised of representatives from different agencies. Because the interagency cell is led by the FBI, the report says, it creates the perception that the unit operates on the FBI’s behalf rather than the whole of government. It recommends that the cell be supervised by rotating leaders from across different agencies, “so it can remain neutral, impactful, and influential across the interagency,” and that the Biden administration consider relocating it away from the FBI and elevating the position of director to a more senior role. The White House does already have senior administration officials dedicated to detainee and hostage cases, including a director for counterterrorism for hostage and detainee affairs. But the report envisions the creation of a new, high-level position at the National Security Council under the title of deputy assistant to the president and special coordinator for detentions. The person would also engage with regional directorates within the NSC to make sure that hostage and detainee concerns are prioritized alongside other diplomatic considerations — interests that can sometimes be in conflict. “In addition,” the report says, “having direct access to the president is critical to ensure that wrongful detainee issues are better prioritized and understood.” The foundation was named after James Foley, a freelance journalist who was among a group of Westerners brutally murdered in Islamic State captivity in Syria in 2014. Two British IS militants, El Shafee Elsheikh and Alexanda Kotey have either pleaded guilty or been found guilty by a jury in connection with those deaths and are serving life sentences. With important federal, state and local elections being decided in the upcoming Nov. 8 election, and the integrity of elections being questioned across the nation following the November 2020 presidential election, the Liberty County Elections Administration Office held a question-and-answer session with local citizens on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Jack Hartel Building in Liberty. Elections Administrator Klint Bush fielded questions from the public and these were his responses: Q: What is the position of the Republican Party regarding hand-counting the elections? A: I can’t speak for the Republican Party. We are a non-partisan office and handle all elections – Democrat, Republican, Green Party, Independent and Libertarian, and write-in. People nowadays expect immediate results on anything. If you go to McDonald’s, you want your coffee right then. If you have to wait five minutes, then that’s too long. People expect election results instantly when the polls close at 7 o’clock. If you don’t check what you are doing, that’s when mistakes happen. If we didn’t have machines that printed out the results at 7 o’clock, we would have to manually count 18,000 ballots. It’s a slow process because the human body, the human mind, the human eye messes up. State law says one person can’t count anything alone. You have to have four people count one ballot. That’s because you have three people counting – making ticker marks – and one person calling. We have done a lot of recounts in the county. Nine times out of ten, the three people will not agree. You have to have two of the three to agree on each ticker mark. By the time you’ve counted thousands of ballots, the eyes play tricks. That’s my concern with 100 percent hand-count ballots, but we can do it. It’s not a problem, but we won’t have election results at 7 p.m. on election night. It might be the next day. Q: Is there a risk? Are we using Dominion software or a machine connected to the Internet? Note: Dominion Voting Systems have been blamed for having vulnerabilities that allow for election tampering; however, these machines are not allowed in Texas elections. A: Texas uses two voting machines, period. In this state, that’s the only thing that is allowed. They are rigorously tested, and Dominion is not one of them. You have Hart Intercivic and ES&S. Those are the only two companies from which you can buy. It is prohibited by law to be on the Internet or to be allowed to be on the Internet. These machines cannot touch the Internet ever. There isn’t a port in here, there is no Bluetooth. These machines in Texas do not get online. If anyone tells you otherwise, they do not know what they are talking about. Texas is Texas. We are not Virginia. We don’t allow Dominion. Dominion did try to get in Texas a couple of years ago and did not pass state standards. Q: What can be done to reassure voters of election integrity? A: Go vote. If you have questions, ask. Don’t believe everything you see on Facebook. There are a lot of folks who just don’t know. Get involved in your government. Your government is only going to be as good and responsive as you put into it. If you don’t trust your elections, then get involved in your elections, then you will see. It’s your neighbors running the elections. It’s the seasoned citizens out working the polls. You go to church with them. You eat lunch with them. You see them at Walmart. They are not rigging elections in Liberty County or in Texas. Q: Has a recount ever changed election results in Liberty County? A: They have not, not ever to my knowledge, and I have been involved in a lot of elections in Liberty County. Q: Are elections audited? A: We actually audit every election, you just don’t know that. We actually audit every election. You just don’t know that. We have audited every election for the past several years, at least five years. We’ve had a partial manual recount. Out of the 22 boxes you will vote in this November, the Secretary of State is going to send me three different candidates, three different boxes. I don’t know what they are, and I don’t know the candidates (in advance). They will pull those randomly and say, “Klint, these are the numbers you reported. This is the number that your machine reported, and this is the number that you verified. I need you to hand-count these boxes and the numbers have to match, or we start opening more and more boxes.” They have matched every time … We test the machines three times before an election and once after an election to make sure that what the state certified is still on here and no one has altered the internal codes. It better be what it’s supposed to be so that we can make sure that the machine counted it correctly. We do a private test to make sure our programming worked, a public test, pre-election day test and after-election day test to make sure they are counting what they are supposed to be counting. Q: What happens if I move from one area to another? A: Nothing. The voter has the responsibility to update their address. If you say you want to live in Tarkington, you can vote in Tarkington. You have a right to vote in this county one time and in one place. You should notify the voter registrar’s office that you are moving. Here’s an example, the Escapees in Livingston – that’s 13,000 folks who live in RVs. They go all over the country but they say that [Livingston] is their home address. They get a right to vote. They say that is where their house is so that is what they do. They all register at the Escapees facility. Thirteen thousand voters live in that one box. That’s where they all mail their ballots. It’s so many ballots that it changed the dynamic of the community from Democrat to Republican. You get to say where you want to vote.  A local example, a person called me. Her brother was running for city council in Liberty. He got to vote in Daisetta but lived in Liberty for six years. He used to live in Daisetta six years ago but never changed his voter registration. Even though I know he lives in Liberty, you know he lives in Liberty, it’s against the law for me to change where someone resides. Homeless people get a right to vote as well. Where are they registered to vote? Wherever they say they are registered to vote. It might be the nearest stop sign. That’s where they sleep at night. That’s their residence. That’s where they are registered to vote. I am going to get their voter registration card back after it’s mailed but they are entitled to vote as well. Q: How do you maintain the voter roll? A: We work with the voter registration list every single day. With 50,000 registered voters, we are adding registered voters every single day. We are moving voters, folks that pass away. The county clerk has seven days to get me a death record. I try to beat the county clerk to it because that is a personal preference of mine. I watch the obituaries for the county, and I put them on hold and try to remove them from the voter roll. I can do that if I get the deceased record. Officially we take them off the voter roll after we get the record from the county. We do try to stay in front of that. If I know you have moved, then I will send you a change of address. If I know something personally, I can’t do anything unless you sign that document. We do try to find out everyone who is turning 18. I try to send them a voter application and say, “Here, you need to register to vote and here are some opportunities to get involved in.” We try to encourage young people to get involved in government. That’s how I got involved in government. Q: Can you address what happened in the suit filed in the Pct. 4 commissioner race that resulted in a new election after a judge found there were 22 errors? A: We had 20 days from the time commissioners court completed redistricting. That means changing every map in this entire county – every district. I have 120,000 people, actually 92,000. We know that’s wrong and they undercounted Liberty County (in the Census). I have 50,000 registered voters [whose precincts and voting boundaries] had to be moved in 20 days. We worked, we brought in extra staff, we missed some districts, and they were right on the line. The judge and the court said that we may – they didn’t say we did because we did a complete audit on it – have had 22 people vote in a commissioner’s race that shouldn’t have voted in that election. The challenger lost by five votes and the incumbent won by five votes. I do not like close races no matter who wins. I want the numbers to be big, I want them to be accurate and I want folks to trust the elections because it’s their elections. In this country, if you don’t trust elections, our democracy is lost. You need to get involved. With that race, we went through all 14,000 registered voters in that one commissioner’s race. We only found four that we messed up on. A lawsuit was challenged, and a judge ruled to throw the election out. I was okay with that because it’s part of democracy. Of course, I want things to be perfect but that is an option that the losing candidate had, and he should have taken it. Q: Why are sample ballots no longer published by the news media for every election? A: You can publish them but there are 52 different ballots. I live in Hardin, Texas. We tell them about how to sell the product, marketing, branding.” Hurtado said of the 20 graduates in the one year the program has been around, three have opened food trucks, seven are selling at Mother Road Market and one is opening a restaurant. “I got emotional because all you need is to give them the tools,” said Hurtado. “When you give them the tools, they can shine, they can succeed.” Sisters Maria “Cristina” and Nayaheli Moguel started the program this week and are excited to learn. “The steps to follow to open a business to learning more,” said Cristina. “We have an idea of what we want, but we need to know the steps,” explained Nayaheli. ‘PUBG’ Creator’s Next Project Is An Open Source Metaverse For Everyone – The Washington Post https://dentoncountynewsonline.com/pubg-creators-next-project-is-an-open-source-metaverse-for-everyone-the-washington-post/ Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene, the creator of “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” (commonly known as “PUBG”) has embarked on a metaverse project called Artemis. Greene revealed new details about Artemis in Hit Points, a newsletter by video game journalist Nathan Brown. In 2019, the developer announced a new project after leaving the PUBG team: “Prologue,” an open-world survival game on a massive, 40-square-mile map. In Tuesday’s edition of Hit Points, Greene told Brown that “Prologue” will ultimately be a tech demo for the even more ambitious Artemis, an Earth-size virtual sandbox. Companies in the tech world have expressed their ambitions to build the metaverse, the hypothetical next iteration of the internet that technologists surmise will be less like the text-based internet we have now, and closer to a digitized version of the real world. And Greene’s vision of the metaverse is a world owned and shared by everybody. PlayerUnknown Productions, the Amsterdam-based studio Greene founded to develop “Prologue” and Artemis, sounds more like a research and development lab than a game developer. Greene told Hit Points the staff includes nuclear physicists and mathematicians — decidedly not the sort of workers you might typically find on a video game team. But Artemis isn’t really a game in a traditional sense. Greene described it as a decentralized interactive world where the inhabitants are free to make or play whatever they wish. “I’m quite zealous about this,” Greene said. “It has to be made a certain way. The only way this exists is if it’s made for everyone, and it’s not made for money.” It’s a big vision that requires skilled management, which is why Greene brought on former Ubisoft Massive managing director David Polfeldt to the PlayerUnknown team as a senior adviser. The technology to create something like Artemis does not even exist yet. Making a 1:1 scale virtual Earth with thousands of people exploring its fully realized biomes is, currently, an impossible task. The tools for crafting a metaverse mirror of Earth don’t exist yet, at least on a scale that is practical. That is why PlayerUnknown Productions has been singularly devoted to building a game engine, Melba, which will be propped up by machine learning. Building Artemis, Greene said, would require an absurd amount of labor for human engineers, but it may be doable for an AI capable of churning out an entire planet’s worth of trees, plants, valleys, rivers and mountains at a relentless pace. It may also be able to populate Artemis with animals and even human NPCs that behave and interact in realistic ways — as long as the AI is built well and fed the right data. Greene told Hit Points that his studio has already filed several patent applications for some of the tech it has developed, and he shared a little about how it works. “We’ve created some new knowledge here: mapping terrain, populating it with trees and assets, inserting artist-made locations into that terrain,” Greene told Hit Points. “And that’s all done generatively, as you move through the world.” All of this is going to take a long time, about 10 to 15 years by Greene’s estimation. Polfeldt is optimistic about the project’s success and cited the team’s small staff as an advantage rather than a hurdle. To Polfeldt, it means the team can knock out the many objectives ahead of them — task by task — as they steadily march toward the white whale of a planet-size digital playground. Greene has remained open to using blockchain technology. Since anyone in Artemis can create whatever or do whatever they want, Greene said, they’ll need some way to verify proof of ownership or some sort of currency to exchange for providing a service. “We’re building a digital place,” Green said. “That has to have an economy, and it has to have systems at work. … But it’s not about, like, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. It’s some kid called AwesomePickle selling cool skins because he understands what people want.” The dream is for Artemis to be an open source world that anyone can modify with a decentralized ownership. All of Artemis’s inhabitants will have a stake, with PlayerUnknown Productions eventually fading into a “maintenance” role to make sure that things are running smoothly, according to Greene. It’s a place with a framework but “no real rules,” he said. Open-world games — even those with a limited scope and strictly controlled ownership relative to Artemis’s pitch — have already created some fascinating emergent moments, unplanned and often unforeseen by the developers. In 2007, a woman in New York City placed an ad on Craigslist offering sex in exchange for 5,000 gold in “World of Warcraft” to purchase an epic flying mount (the woman claimed to have found a client in a follow-up post). In 2012, the zombie apocalypse title “DayZ” inspired discussions on human nature as players chose to either band together or murder each other over cans of beans in the game’s cutthroat world. In 2005, a “World of Warcraft” glitch that acted like a viral epidemic forced the developer to briefly shut down the game to keep the “virus” from infecting all players — an incident later referenced by epidemiologists researching predictive modeling around covid-19. Greene referenced English computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web who also gave his creation away freely without copyrights or patents. More recently, Berners-Lee has been deeply critical of Silicon Valley giants controlling vast portions of the web and warning against a future he described as a “digital dystopia.” To that end, PlayerUnknown Productions is going to build Artemis — but Greene wants its inhabitants to determine what it will be. “We want to make our engine easy to mod, and to make it open source so everyone can participate,” Greene told Brown. “It won’t be PlayerUnknown’s Metaverse, just like it isn’t Tim Berners-Lee’s internet. It has to be owned by everyone.”

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Is Great, But It Won’t Make Me Play Cyberpunk 2077 – TheGamer https://dentoncountynewsonline.com/cyberpunk-edgerunners-is-great-but-it-wont-make-me-play-cyberpunk-2077-thegamer/ I’m not much of an anime head, as my colleagues constantly bemoan. I’ve seen most Studio Ghibli films, the first few series of Pokemon, and Death Note, but that’s it. I’m not going to watch 1,000 episodes of One Piece, and although Cowboy Bebop has been recommended to me time and time again, I still haven’t got around to watching it. But ten short episodes set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe? Sure, I’ll give it a shot. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was great. I enjoyed the second half much more than the first, but overall it was a really cool story propelled by great characters. The show explored concepts of losing your humanity as you augment your flesh with increasingly complicated bionics in interesting ways, and the central love story was as poignant as it was tragic. Gory fight scenes are full of unrealistic athletics, time-slowing gadgets, and more explosions than a Schwarzenegger flick. For an anime noob, it was perfect. On the other hand, we have Cyberpunk 2077. While I only played five to ten hours of CD Projekt Red’s RPG before I got bored and turned it off, I’ve read a lot about it. I’m aware that’s no substitute for playing the game, but everything I’ve read has turned me off it, and I’m not even talking about bugs. When it first launched (and was subsequently pulled from stores), I read about its childish views of sex (something Edgerunners sadly replicates), its useless skills, and the fact that Cyberware barely worked. You can only play by shooting your way through levels, there’s no place for hackers or any other roleplaying in Night City, no matter how hard you try. Since joining TheGamer nearly a year ago, I’ve read and edited countless articles about Cyberpunk 2077, and have therefore read up even more on the subject to provide useful and constructive advice. I’ve read about a world full of locked doors and buildings you can’t enter, racial stereotypes and poor-to-useless cosmetic upgrades. Sure, there are apparently some great characters, quests, and set pieces, but it’s clear to me this is not the game that will replicate the Edgerunners experience. I don’t care about getting David’s yellow jacket or spotting the Edgerunners references that have been patched into 2077, I want to upgrade myself with an Arasaka Exoskeleton so I look more like a Warhammer 40,000 Dreadnought than I do a man, become a metal monster and wreak havoc in Night City of my own accord. But that’s not an option for V, whose cyberware only buffs stats and grants abilities rather than giving her any cosmetic changes or significantly changing her playstyle. The only real physical upgrade is the Mantis Blades, which I’m told are useless when melee combat is rare and ineffective. While I’ve also been made aware that a cyberpsycho does wear a similar exoskeleton in the game, that’s not enough. What’s the cyberpunk genre without the risk of losing your humanity? Edgerunners tells that story perfectly, and while I don’t know how Johnny Silverhand gets to grips with his virtual life in V’s head, nothing tells me that 2077 will even attempt to tackle similar existential questions. From the outside, Cyberpunk 2077 looks all style and no substance. The character creator – which I did use in my short playthrough – is a prime example of this. You can match any genitals with either of the binary genders, but your voice is locked to being deep for a male V or high for a female. Everything is for show, to create a cool-looking world filled with edgy-looking people, but nothing goes deeper. Nothing is explored or analysed, none of the most interesting genre concepts used for anything more than epic set pieces. Maybe I’m wrong, and maybe Cyberpunk 2077 does a great job of embodying and interrogating cyberpunk ideas but it just so happens that nobody talks about that aspect of the game. But, at least from the outside, Edgerunners seems to achieve that better in its ten short episodes than 2077 does in its 100 hours of gameplay. The news was reported by Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. Jihan Wu is an influential figure in the crypto space. He founded Bitmain Technologies Ltd, which is the largest Bitcoin mining-machine manufacturer, with a revenue of $5.6 billion in 2021. Wu left the company last year and is now heading up its Bitcoin-mining spinoff Bitdeer and crypto-finance company Matrixport. The vault’s depository includes gold and silver bars, precious gems, and fine art from shareholders headed up by Swiss art dealer and founder Yves Bouvier, the media report said. The transaction was private and happened in July. Prior to this, Bouvier had been unsuccessful in trying to sell Freeport, located in Singapore near Changi airport. Freeport began operations more than a decade ago, intending to appeal to customers such as collectors, wealth managers, and major bullion traders. “The facility offers integrated services to handle the shipping, storage, display and trade of these valuables … Maximum security and 24/7 security access. Stringent security provisions include electronic monitoring of staff, clients and valuables as well as armed guards,” described Freeport’s website.  According to the deal, Bitdeer is the sole shareholder of Straitdeer Pte., which now is the new owner of Asia Freeport Holdings Pte. In another development, Wu is also forming a fund worth $250 million to buy up distressed assets from mining firms. “We can buy the cheaper machines and run them in our existing facilities with stable and cost-effective power purchase agreements,” Bitdeer CEO Matt Kong told Bloomberg. Anti-government protests have raged across Iran after 22-year-old Mahsa Amini died in the custody of the nation’s morality police in mid-September. Last week, the US Treasury Department issued a general license meant to allow companies to provide services for internet access to Iranians without fear of sanctions. At a press conference Tuesday, Blinken noted that the new general license “authorizes companies to provide things like cloud services, privacy technology, security technology, hardware and software to enable the Iranians to better communicate among themselves and also with the rest of the world.” “Individual companies can come to us, to OFAC in this case, to determine whether their technology fits under the license,” he added, referencing the Office of Foreign Assets Control. However, technological hurdles remain, as certain services require hardware to function. Blinken declined to say if the US would work with companies to physically get such hardware into Iran. The US and Iran do not have diplomatic relations and the US government does not have a presence there. State Department spokesperson Ned Price said Monday it was up to private companies to “take steps that they deem appropriate” to broaden internet access in Iran, and did not offer details about whether the newly issued US general license has made a tangible difference in expanding that access. “The Treasury Department, through the general license, has taken steps that, through its self-executing capacity, authorizes additional companies to provide software in some cases, hardware, that would be operational in Iran,” he said at a press briefing Monday. “Of course, we’re not going to speak to what would be required for any such hardware to get into Iran. It is our charge, it is our responsibility to see to it that there are no restrictions, US government restrictions, that would prevent relevant software, in some cases, hardware from being operational inside of Iran,” he said. In addition to issuing the general license, the Biden administration also imposed sanctions on the morality police last week “for abuse and violence against Iranian women and the violation of the rights of peaceful Iranian protestors.” “Mahsa should be alive today,” Blinken said Tuesday. “The only reason she’s not is because a brutal regime took her life and took her life because of decisions she should be making about what she would wear or not wear.” “Women in Iran have the right to wear what they want, they have the right to be free from violence, they have the right to be free from harassment. Mr. Antel was born on November 1, 1949, in Sewickley, PA, a son of the late Robert and Elva (Cujas) Antel. He lived his childhood in Hopewell Twp. with his parents and brother, Dale “Robert” Antel, who survives in Cape Code, MA. In 1968, Jim graduated from Hopewell High School and attended Butler County Community College, where he studied accounting. At the age of 18, he was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. From 1970-1971, Jim served in the Infantry Division, where he walked point and was also a part of a Special Forces Hunter/Killer Team. After the war, he started working as a field service technician for Diebold Inc., servicing bank alarms and ATMs in the surrounding area. He retired after 40 years of service and earned his CDL License to become a bus driver with STA in Hermitage. He drove for the local area school district’s sporting events and field trips during the Fall and Spring. While driving the bus, he enjoyed watching the students play sports and attending their various events. In the Summers, he would drive for Zambelli Fireworks delivering fireworks all over the country. He was a devoted family man and deeply loved his children and grandchildren. Jim was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hermitage. He liked to camp, travel and go for rides on his boat at Pymatuning Lake. Jim loved Boy Scouts and served as a Scout Leader. He looked forward to spending the week with his son at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation. Jim also loved riding roller coasters and taking his family on an annual vacation to Cedar Point. Additionally, he was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan. On February 12, 1983, he married his wife, Diane (Tomko) Antel. Together they had two children, a son James Antel and his wife Jill (Turrisi); and a daughter, Jayne (Antel) Kornbau and her husband Matthew. He also had five beautiful grandchildren, Maeli, Alyssa, Astyn, Mira and Kyler. LUNC is available on OKX. Moments before Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) broke out today I had warned members the price was about to do something special in my official discord channel. Terra Luna Classic had been trading within a bullish reversal pattern known as a broadening descending wedge.  This is formed when the price rallies and retraces within a descending wedge which has diverging resistance and support trendlines. Currently, LUNC is trading at $0.000282 but is still up by 9.11% since this morning. This could potentially be a short term retracement until we see more positive price continuation.  LUNC/BUSD – 4 Hour Time Frame. As we can see LUNC comfortably found support around the $0.000257 following the recent breakout due to the bullish news around Binance who will soon be integrating the 1.2% burning and taxing mechanics.  Whilst a rapacious breakout occured, LUNC didn’t quite hit the technical price target of $0.00033. It is now imperative that LUNC can hold the $0.00028 support level in order to prevent negative continuation to the downside and from entering the broadening wedge pattern once again.  Historically, October and November are strong months for the crypto markets, we could potentially see the entire market sentiment shift from extreme fear to neutrality or greed.  This would result in an uptrend for Bitcoin which should also drag altcoins such as Terra Luna Classic up with it. Even though LUNC has been in the limelight once again these past 24 hours, on the macroscale LUNC has still formed a lower high which is technically bearish.  I speculate that October we may see the price of LUNC chop between $0.000329 and $0.000257 LUNC Must Burn More Supply It is crucial that Terra Luna Classic continues to burn more of its ever so inflated supply of 6,151.07b tokens in order to see positive price action for the future.  Recently, more major centralized exchanges in the market such as Binance are onboarding the 1.2% tax burn and mechanics which is a great start.  Once we see more tier 1 and tier 2 centralized or decentralized exchanges follow in their footsteps, the supply of LUNC will come down. As we can see the last 30 days of burning for the total LUNC supply looks fantastic and is almost completely linear.  As exchanges bring in more trade volume for LUNC and if the Terra Luna Classic community is able to thrive with morale and confidence more LUNC tokens will be burnt.  According to Terrarity, it is predicted that in 5 years 8.436% of the total LUNC supply will be burnt. This is a total of 582,197,733,676 tokens compared to the 0.062% that has been burnt today. In may cases, we can spend hours browsing flight deals and loading various routes and prices trying to assemble the best possible deal with the fewest layovers, and it can get tiresome fast. But how do we really score the best price possible? It starts by planning ahead. Let Your Budget Lead You A great way to get the best deals when flying is to plan your flight around your budget, rather than the reverse. This means that you’ll start researching flights before, not after, locking in your dates. By picking your dates first, you may end up paying higher prices just because you’re locked into a certain day or time that is more expensive.  If you can be flexible with your dates, you may just find a span of dates that has a much better price range, as in as much as a thousand dollars better, if you’re flying overseas. You still get where you want to go, but you’ll do so for less when you aren’t locked into a specific time frame.  Timing Matters There’s a lot of differing advice on the best days or times to fly, but generally the best rates can be found by avoiding flying on the weekends. There are exceptions, but weekends are usually more expensive. Again, flexibility is key here. If you are able to start your trip on a Tuesday or Wednesday rather than a Friday or Saturday and consider a redeye or early morning flights, you can get a better deal.  The best flights to catch if you are looking to save are mid-week flights. “Statistically, Tuesday and Wednesday flights will offer travelers the best deals on airfare. Taking the first or last flights of the day is also a great way for travelers to save money, as these times are less popular. The first flights of the day are also typically the ones that leave on time, so for travelers looking to stick to a strict schedule this is an ideal time to fly,” said Jeff Klee, CheapAir.com CEO. Turn On Incognito Mode On Your Browser Have you ever noticed that if as you continue to reload flight routes on the website of your airline of choice,  the prices sometimes keep changing in the wrong direction as you do? Although no airline has ever admitted to price gouging as people refresh the page, some bargain travel experts have theorized that airlines may do this on purpose, because they are trying to convey a sense of urgency. If prices are climbing, even slightly, then travelers are more likely to feel like it’s urgent to lock in that fare ASAP. But if you clear your cookies in your browser, make your browser private, or search for deals using incognito mode, airlines won’t know you’ve been there before. It’s at least worth a shot to see what happens   Plan Ahead Explore your options earlier, because the longer you wait, the more you may end up spending. “Our 2022 Domestic Airfare study found that the best day to buy flights is approximately 76 days out from your departure date. Another factor to consider, if you can plan ahead, is that the least expensive months to fly are January and February. This is likely due to the lack of travel demand after the holidays and before spring and summer vacation starts,” says Klee. Play With The Routes We all want to fly nonstop. That is always the most convenient, least stressful, and fastest way to get somewhere. But, it’s also usually the most expensive way to go. If you take some time to look at options with connecting flights, chances are you will find a better deal. You may also want to try looking at a selection of airlines, because your preferred airline may  not have the best deals available for those dates, on that specific route. Look Into Smaller Airports When we think of touching down in a destination, our minds immediately think of the larger airports in a city. Granted,  they have the greatest range of flight time and airline options. But smaller, local airports often are cheaper.  No, they won’t be your best option for you if it leaves you stuck with a much longer and more expensive commute to get to the airport, but it’s something to consider if you have a car, or a friend or family member who can serve as your personal airport shuttle. For example, I live in NYC. If  I find a deal at an airport upstate it won’t help me if I need to spend a few hundred dollars to get to the airport, but if you can get to a smaller regional airport with relative ease, this is the way to go. Consider Smaller Airlines This works for the same reason as smaller airports. Those regional airlines sometimes have promotions and better deals on similar routes to the more major airlines that we immediately think of. Use Price Watching Tools On sites like Kayak and Google, you can search travel for your dates, and then set a flight alert. “You’ll be notified as prices move up and down for your particular trip. Alerts will give you the opportunity to watch and book if you see a great deal pop up for your trip or you see prices creeping up and you don’t want to risk paying more,” says Clem Bason, General Manager of Travel at Snapcommerce. Use Miles or Points Obviously, holiday travel can be a great opportunity to cash on those miles you’ve accrued or credit card points toward a steeply discounted flight, a free flight, or even an upgrade. First class, you say? We’ll take it! It’s time to dig into those points you may have accrued on a credit card years ago, but just never cashed in, or maybe you even forgot about them. Make a thorough review of all your statements and see where you might be able to cash in. Engage XR’s virtual world, which will launch later this year, will include an always-on virtual home for Lenovo to showcase its products and solutions, and as well as being a location to meet and collaborate with partners and customers directly. Other confirmed partners including HTC and the Virtual Human Interaction Lab at Stanford University. An unnamed multinational professional services company and a publisher and education company have also signed deals with Engage. Companies using Engage Link will have persistent locations to advertise their business and services directly to the public and to potential clients, build their own metaverse services for private use or make them available to the wider world. The new headset, the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX will be aimed at enterprise customers. “We engineered the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX to be the VR solution of choice for training and collaborating in immersive 3D,” said Vishal Shah, Lenovo’s general manager of XR and metaverse. “Collaborating with ENGAGE demonstrates the power of these use cases and the ability of ThinkReality to help customers scale into enterprise metaverse.” Pricing and availability for the headset has not yet been announced, but the headset is expected to launch early next year. “The launch of the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX shows the growing anticipation that more and more work will be done in the Metaverse,” said David Whelan, chief executive of Engage XR. “While other technology companies have focused on the social and entertainment opportunities, Lenovo has identified the huge benefits for enterprises utilising the metaverse to engage with employees, customers and suppliers around the world.”
