Access parsed Markdown
I’m looking into a plugin that would let me copy some Markdown from the current note and transform it into Latex. The current Pandoc route seems set for whole documents more than fragments, and I’d like to write something very simple for pasting into Overleaf, but with a bit of control over how citations are handled. Is it possible to make use of the existing Markdown parser within Obsidian? Is there a way to get an intermediate tree, or will it always work with a DOM?

The future of note-taking and knowledge management - The Gardens - Greene Gardens
I’m starting to collect thoughts, ideas, questions, etc. around the broad topic of “the future of note-taking and knowledge management”. While my own focus is often on personal knowledge (PKM), I think some of the most important challenges in this general space are related or adjacent to multi-user functions and systems, “collective sense-making”, etc. This will start of pretty basic, but I hope to expand it over time. I would welcome comments to help co-create the content here! Including re...
