A commonly recognised share icon looks like this: I'm guessing there must be (surely) a Unicode symbol out there for this, but so far - despite pretty thorough searching - I've come up empty-handed...

Note: I am very familiar with losing work I had been typing into a text area. I highly recommend Textarea Cache so you can retrieve what you were typing. It only keeps track of multiline textareas which helps with not copying passwords.

You would not be allowed to use it if you work in a secured area, which would also apply to a lot of other extensions, but if you have complete control of your machine and nobody else can access it you’re good for personal use in your home. You can control how long what you had typed is kept.

The extension is available in all browsers that I use on Windows or Android that allow extensions. Android has very few if any extensions allowed in most Chromium browsers. Not familiar with MacOS systems.
