Zato's main mechanic in Guilty Gear Strive is summoning Eddie, but players hoping to master Zato also need to learn when and how to unsummon. Zato-1 has a variety of interesting moves, but one of his most unique is Break the Law. Break the Law allows Zato to sink into a shadow puddle, removing him from the screen. While this move needs to be used with care, it has some powerful applications that make him extremely dangerous. Zato is one of the most interesting characters in Guilty Gear Strive, but also the most challenging. One specifically difficult part of his kit is his negative edge moves. Negative edge refers to moves coming out when you release a button, rather than pressing it. This is required technique for playing Zato since that's how Eddie's moves work.
