The #1 technique to get you to floor 10 and help you understand Strive's first layer of offense. Frametraps, blockstrings, and having a "conversation". Hey-hey, I noticed a lot of the questions I've answered on Strive usually involve explaining basic offense in this game. So, I thought I'd just make a video. New players are so focused on combos and specific characters strengths, when really just knowing about frametraps and more importantly why they work, is enough to carry you to floor 10. Obviously you need have a decent grasp of fundamentals and a combo or 2, but just to test my theory I went out of my way to do the "No Disc Challenge" whenever I fought someone below Celestial. No disc setups and no fancy offense - I just ran at my opponents and would only meaty or frametrap, 2 things the can be countered by blocking. 2 things, that if you have a basic understanding of turns, can get you surprisingly far. The Tiger knee technique gives players acess to their air ok or exclusives moves while on the ground. In Guilty Gear -STRIVE- these tiger knee moves can be used in block strings to help open up opponents and or start new combo routes. This video will teach you how and when you can tiger knee while also showcasing a few advance applications of it. Tiger Knee is especially good with Chipp in Millia as it gives them more options during their block strings. This can keep you from becoming predictable and can also grant you some sick confirms. #Chipp #Millia
