#GGST_HA With double reloading and a focus beforehand, you have enough juice to build 50 tension on block and continue with super focus. Everything in this clip is a frame trap or a true blockstring assuming my execution is sound. You can just throw after any of the GBs. pic.twitter.com/FzlHULal2E— Unluckythirteen (@unlucky13irteen) December 24, 2021

Daru Ino Explains I-no's Mindgames & Mix in Guilty Gear Strive | Secret Sauce
S4 E9 Today we're crossing continents once again. Daru Ino is one of the most powerful Guilty Gear players in Asia. An I-no main since as far back as XX, Daru has been pioneering the character since Guilty Gear Strive's release. His distinct mix of historical character knowledge and fighting game prowess make him ideal to share the Secret Sauce. Today's episode was translated by @AMurderofBears (Twitter), and I can't thank him enough for his help in making this possible. [GGST] Anji Mito Butterfly Okizeme Explained | Theory, Setups, Frame Traps, and More
[GGST] Anji Mito Butterfly Okizeme Explained | Theory, Setups, Frame Traps, and More
I haven't really seen a breakdown of how Shitsu works, which is why I made this video. This guide explains why Shitsu okizeme is so powerful, the theory behind its usage, and provides practical setups and frame traps to help develop an understanding of how to take advantage of its properties to mix up the opponent. Up to date as of Patch v1.1. Introduction - 00:00 Breaking Down Shitsu - 00:56 The First Gap: Wakeup - 02:26 The Second Gap: Between Shitsu's Two Hits - 05:53 The Third Gap: After Shitsu's Second Hit - 08:58 Looping Okizeme with Throws and Frame Traps -10:30 Overheads - 15:58 Recap - 18:28 Outro - 19:19 Corrections: 1. It is possible to create a small combo with Dash 5D where the 2nd hit of Shitsu connects slightly after 5D does. In that case, Anji can perform a 5K into 236H and possibly more follow-ups if near the wall. This however only works by dashing in a decent distance with 5D (enough to get CH by a Sol c.S), and does not work with the true 5D block string timing. The entire sequence looks like this: Shitsu 1st hit (blocked), Dash 5D (hit), Shitsu 2nd hit (hit), 5K 236H (hit). I have no idea how well known this is, but I accidentally found that after hitting minions with 236k if you buffer a 2P itll cancel into the pickup minion special but not actually pick up the minionSo you can act into anything after kicking a minion much faster👀 #GGST_JC pic.twitter.com/OQEmAEzZIv— Sparx21 (@Sparx21RoA) December 22, 2021

Also works with 6S in the corner, but shhhhh. At 02:19, I mention "low gravity combos". This does *not* just mean "short combos". Gravity is affected by many factors, like repeated moves and such, which is why the example (CH 2S BR1, 5K 2D BR1) doesn't work. BR1 was already used, and as such the gravity increases a lot when it's used as an ender. Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 00:44 How it works 01:35 Setups 02:35 Dealing with it -- read umineko (please)

Some auto-timed 5P meaty setups (per @DSbro_'s request).Obviously, they aren't all practical (like the 2D setup) but it's nice to know. I'll be on the lookout for more too.(And be sure to watch DSbro's video on 5P meaty if you haven't!)#GGST_PO pic.twitter.com/vMAbGfl8LN— 0-2 (@bearhugprime) December 22, 2021

New fuzzy setups adapted from my fuzzies. Since big part of current Chipp flow chart is 2D cS otg safe jump, here are fuzzy setups ideas to further open up the opponent. Side switch also works on small but jP will whiff so slightly more risky. #GGST #GGST_CH pic.twitter.com/R8FRyFAe2a— XIII.PHANTOM (@XIIIPHANTOMXIII) December 21, 2021

Potemkin Optimal Combos
A new video of Potemkin's optimal combos in patch 1.10 (battle patch v1.05) along with some routing theory. You can see my major writeup on Potemkin's combo theory on the Dustloop wiki: https://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=GGST/Potemkin/Combos#Combo_Theory. GLOSSARY: "DSbro, what the hell is a just frame, or whatever you call a JFkBMF?" It's a unique version of kBMF and is needed in specific combos vs lights to continue the combo. Watch this video to see the difference between a standard kBMF and JFkBMF: https://youtu.be/YetL4c904NU. It also has the benefit of being guaranteed to not wallsplat which is used in 1 optimal route.
