f.SS bite
Beats
• Blocking. The f.SS forward step allows you to cancel into bite while being in range
• 6f buttons and non-throw invul reversals.
Loses to
• FD will put Nago outside range of bite.
• Immediate up-backing and backdash
• Fuzzy jump/backdash
• 5f pokes
• Throw invul reversals
Pros
• Knocks down and reduces blood gauge by 280.3
Cons
• Easy for the opponent to react to f.S and FD the second hit to push out your only direct mixup which is bite.
• Very long CH state recovery on bite whiff
f.SSS
Beats
• Immediate up-back/jumping.
• 5f invul backdash, regardless of BRC.
• Mashing.
Loses to
• Invulnerable reversals and supers.
• 6f backdashes. f.SS f.SSS string can be delayed by up to 2 frames, which will catch early backdash timings. This will also open up f.SSS to being thrown, but is very unlikely.
• Fuzzy jump/backdash. f.SSS is -25 on block, and this also escapes bite.
Pros
• 57.6 blood reduction over 6 seconds on block, which Nago can more or less try to force with roman cancels.
• Chip damage.
• Massive 115.2 blood reduction on hit and knockdown.
Cons
• -25 on block and no cancels.
• The limited f.SSS timing makes it very easy to defend against.
• Has to spend meter to stay safe.
