Zato-1 & Eddie | Guilty Gear Strive | Ultimate Starter Guide
This is the ultimate Guilty Gear Strive starter guide for Zato-1 and Eddie. They are notoriously difficult to learn on your own, but this guide will tell you almost EVERYTHING you need to know to play the character. The video is long, but it takes a lot of dedication to learn this character. Spending 2 hours watching this video could save you 20 hours in the lab. If that sounds like way too much, then this character is not for you.
Edit: After recording, I realized I forgot to mention how to use Drunkard Shade and Drill in neutral. DS reflects projectiles, has a fast startup, launches on CH, and has low recovery, so you can spam it in neutral to check the opponent. Drill is a mid projectile with lots of active frames, but poor recovery. It is good for poking after the opponent blocks an Eddie move far away from you since it will be DP safe and protect Eddie while he is recovering. Drill can be made plus on block if used meaty on wakeup, which is good if Eddie is on cooldown.
