1 man’s linen shirt w/ shirt collar, full sleeves gathered into SH yoke w/ underarm gusset, engraved MOP buttons, c. 1840, CH 50”, L 31”, (discoloration, few small holes around collar, missing top button, wear to edge of cuffs & collar) fair; 1 entirely hand sewn padded Wcoat in in blue & blue green patterned silk w/ uncut loop floral motif, glazed cotton backing & twill linen lining w/ leather H facing, c. 1840, CH 38”, L 23”, (1.5” seam opening rt underarm, few loose/missing buttons, lining discolored, interior leather trim cracking) very good; 1 black silk satin tisse en form woven Wcoat in floral spray & enclosed chain border, printed cotton twill lining, glazed twill backing w/ eyelet closures, leather H facings, c. 1847, CH 36”, L 21”, (minor lining discoloration, CB W tie broken), excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.

1 white cotton embroidered w/ white meandering floral sprays, 1867, CH 36”, L 19”, (light discoloration, few spot stains, CB buckle missing) very good; 1 blush pink & gold silk brocade in floral & insect pattern w/ faux pearl buttons, 1880s, buckle stamped “Fine”, CH 38”, L 22”, (few stains up to 1”, 10.5” seam opening lower CB, light wear/discoloration) very good; 1 black patterned silk velvet w/ black medallions framing woven rosettes, cotton lining & backing, 1860s, CH 36”, L 18”, (wear/pile loss, few stains up to 1”, 1 loose button, light lining discoloration) good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.

White linen drawers w/ buckle closure at back, buckle stamped “1854”, W 26”, inseam 30”, (light discoloration, sm light stains, missing all buttons, pulls, minor tarnish to buckle, few loose stitches) very good.

1 black cotton & synthetic lace merry widow w/ bone & undercup wire, 1950s, label “Hollywood Vassarette 32B, unstretched B 30”, W 20”, L 11”, (light wear to elastic, cups creased) very good; 1 cotton lawn corset cover w/ Madeira embroidery, blue ribbon at neckline, monogrammed “Martha”, c. 1900, B 42”, L 17”, (few small holes & light stains) very good; 1 ribbed cotton corset cover w/ Heileman embroidery, MOP buttons, 1870s, B 30”, L 15”, (few small light stains & holes, light wear) excellent.

1 cotton twill button-front corset, stamped “Ferris, August 27 89”, B 26”, W 19”, H 22”, L 18”, (laces N/I, discoloration along boning, few stains up to 1”, tarnish to CB eyelets) good; 1 pair cami-knickers w/ Heileman embroidery to flounces, drawn thread embroidery & tucking, c. 1880, B 30”, W 22”, L 36”, (light discoloration, many small pulls, few tiny stains) good; 1 cotton shelf bust camisole, B 34”, L 17”, (few small light stains, minor pulls) very good.

1 white cotton corset w/ back stitch silk embroidery, bone eyelets attached to edge of CB opening, interior side French seams, stamped “Emily J. Davis”, B 28”, W 22”, H 30”, L 20”, (laces N/I, discolored, few chips to eyelets, minor pulls) good; 1 plain white cotton corset w/ ash busk, “S H” monogram to front B 26”, W 20”, H 30”, L 20”, (laces N/I, few small stains, few pulls, minor wear/discoloration, 1.5” stain inside left SH) very good.
