Stoicism : 10 tools of ancient philosophy that improved my life
This is quite an annoying article, or make that 'advertisement for a book', from The Guardian 20-9-22. It is hard to imagine how you could fill up a whole book with this drivel. Albert Woodfox endured 43 years in solitary confinement, believed to be more than any other inmate in the history of the United States. He was locked in a 6ft by 9ft cell for 23 hours a day. To bring the smallest semblance of variety into his days, Woodfox alternated between eating breakfast standing up or sitting down.
