Top aides to former president Donald Trump are set to defy subpoena orders for documentation and testimonials as the Thursday deadline looms, The Guardian reports. The select committee investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol issued four subpoenas for the former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, former deputy chief of staff Daniel Scavino Jr, former adviser Steve Bannon and former Pentagon chief of staff Kash Patel. The news comes as the committee has been unable to locate Scavino to serve the subpoena physically.
