Trailer for post-punk doc ‘Rip it Up & Start Again’
Based on Simon Reynolds‘ 2005 post-punk chronicle, the documentary features interviews with Jah Wobble (PiL), Ana da Silva (Raincoats), Genesis Breyer-P-Orridge (Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV), Mark Stewart (The Pop Group), Stephen Mallinder (Cabaret Voltaire) and more.
“I’m actually in the studio over the next few weeks finishing it off,” he told me. “The working title at the moment is Ecce Homo. It’s full-on electronic with classical instruments. When will it be out? God knows. Maybe late 2022 or definitely early 2023.”
