Pak-Lock ML1 & ML2 - Latch Lock for Milwaukee Packouts - High Temp Plastic
Pak-Lock ML1 & ML2 are easy to use locks designed for the Milwaukee Packout System. They fit many of the smaller latch packouts.
This lock secures and prevents others from being able to unlatch your Packouts from a base or other Packout boxes. Great for keeping your Packout from easily running off from your pickup or side by side.
Some packout latches like the Ammo Can, have a slight angle to the face of the latch, so I have made the ML2 version just for those packouts. This is to keep the Pak-Locks’ tolerance tight and as form fitting as possible.
I have found if you don't do two versions someone could pry the lock up and over the latch ledge on the packouts; this removing the box without unlocking the lock.

Note: A ML2 Lock will work in every box that a ML1 lock will, but I don't recommend it due to them not being as snug or form fitting.

The ML1&2 will not work out of the box by themselves with your Packouts. The Milwaukee latch will have to be modified.
Dilling the Latches:
You will need to modify the latch to provide a spot for the lock to latch. You can remove the latch and make a hole yourself, but unlike other products, I have developed a drilling jig that makes it super easy to do it correctly and make a perfectly square ledge; which is the better lock engagement profile, vs a round hole drilled at a angle.
The ML2-DJ Drilling Jig makes modifying your packout latches SUPER EASY, with no removing of the latches from the packout, no measuring or files needed. The only other tool you need is a drill.

You only need to buy it once for all your Pak-Locks, It works for both the ML1 and ML2 lock designs.
NOTE: Use with a Drill, do not not use with a Dremel or rotary tool, as at the lower speeds with a dremel there will not be enough torque, and at the higher speeds, too much heat will be generated.

All my Pak-Locks are printed in High-Quality Numakers ASA, which has a higher melting temp than the PTEG/PLA that most of these locks are printed in. ASA is the perfect material for surviving as long as your packouts do.
I pre-lube and test every lock with a DuPont Non-Stick Dry-Film Lubricant that leaves a 100% dry-to-the-touch, micro-thin coating of Ceramic Boron Nitride that repels dirt, dust, and other contaminants.
Printed with 7 walls and 60% infill, making it feel durable and giving it lots of strength.

If you want to order more than 1 lock at once, All you have to do is add it to your cart and change the quantity from within the cart.
All locks on the same order will be keyed alike. Please leave a note if you would like them to be keyed differently.
Any future orders could have a different key number for the lock. Though I will try and accommodate any same key requests, I can not guarantee I will be able to provide the same lock key number in the future. If you would like to request a certain key number, message me before ordering again.

LOCK QUALITY
This 3D print is designed for only high quality locks and keys from Admiral Locks. Do not be left hanging with a broken key or seized up lock in 6 months due to cheap locks or keys. I keep my tolerances tight, and this design will not work with the cheaper locks, from other sites, that may look the same, but are lower quality.
