Mercedes-Benz Trucks, the European division of commercial vehicle maker Daimler Truck, has unveiled its latest innovation in the field of battery-electric long-haul trucking: the eActros 600. This truck, which is expected to start production in late 2024, promises to deliver a range of 500 kilometers (310 miles) without intermediate charging, a payload capacity of 22 tons (48,500 pounds), and a gross vehicle weight of 44 tons (97,000 pounds).
