BMW unveiled the new BMW iX3, the first BMW car powered exclusively by electricity. The launch of the new BMW iX3 will start towards the end of 2020 when sales will start in China. The new BMW iX3 electric SUV will be produced at the Shenyang plant in China, which is operated by the BMW Brilliance Automotive joint venture. BMW eDrive components are also manufactured in Shenyang. The electric motor developed for the new BMW iX3 produces a maximum power of 286 hp and instantly develops a maximum torque of 400 Nm. Top speed is limited to 180Km/h.
