The world's most energy efficient vehicle: Eximus IV |E.V. News|Electric Hunter
Is making an electric car on rails truly an exaggerated efficiency exercise? Apparently, it's not. In fact, in Sweden, some engineering students at the University of Dalarna have created Eximus IV, the first electric car on rails with an efficiency that would allow it to travel over 17000 km with the equivalent of a litre of petrol. The Delsbo Electric competition involves driving a distance of about 3.36 km with as little energy consumption as possible, expressed in Wh / person / km. To get the final result, the total energy consumption is divided by the number of passengers.
