The Mokka-e compact electric SUV can now be ordered from 32,990 euros before the environmental bonus, with deliveries to begin in early 2021. After governmental incentives, the entry price of the Mokka-e will drop to 23,420 euros in Germany. The new Opel Mokka-e is already well equipped with state-of-the-art assistance systems like front collision warning systems, automatic city emergency braking and pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist, traffic sign and drowsiness detection.

Thursday, Volkswagen officially announces that it has started production of the new ID.4 model. The electric SUV ID.4 offers over 500km of autonomy (without mentioning the battery capacity) and will be available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The official presentation of the electric car is scheduled for September. The electric SUV ID.4 is produced in Germany at the Zwickau plant, and on this occasion the manufacturer published a video material informing about the production process.

The Chinese start-up electric car start-up based in Shanghai, Aiways starts pre-selling its first fully-electric SUV, the U5, in Germany. Aiways sells the U5 in Germany exclusively through direct sales together with its partner Euronics. You can choose between the equipment variants Standard for 37,990 euros and Premium for 40,990 euros (gross prices, so the net price for both variants is below the 40,000 euro). Both variants with 63 kWh battery capacity and 150 kW (204 PS) electric motor are fully eligible for 9,480 euros environmental bonus.

The Spanish factories have adapted to manufacture electric cars with the aim of exporting it to the whole world. In contrast to the data simulated tests, the actual test shows that the Mustang Mach-E achieved on average 26 km (almost 30%) better reach than previously estimated in the more traditionalistic simulation tests.
