The story behind the free floating floppy video clip from a 1990's space shuttle mission. NASA has flown many computers during the space shuttle program, they were used to run experiments and run software which didn't fit into the main flight computer. On STS-41 a Mac Portable was flown as part of a test of used interfaces in zero G, and this was repeated on STS-43, with the computer also being used to send the first email from space!
