We need to bring back the magic of software because it is the only way to push the boundaries of our dreams. Because it is the only way to give our dream machines back their real meaning.

What if I adopted another story? I’m enjoying building this project, and it will be ready when it’s ready. What exactly am I afraid will happen if I just let it unfold at its own pace? And honestly, how lucky am I to be able to wake up every day and spend my time working on something that I’m incredibly excited about?

Readers are going to remember two major things when they walk away. The beginning and the end. it’s important to get eyes on whatever you’re working on, from someone who has a little distance from it.

Spend time prototyping your app on paper and really working on the human interaction before you write a line of code. Identify the audience and the story and story board your app just as someone might sketch out scenes in an animated feature.

Stories that elicit a big reaction provide us with a big opportunity to acknowledge our most challenging emotions and to wrestle with the assumptions, ideas, and beliefs that may no longer serve us. And that's the *whole* point of writing, of communicating, and of being human.
