COVID-19 and Managing Risk
COVID-19 and Managing Risk
This is where we have no choice other than to trust the people whose job is to help with this stuff. The only thing we can do is stay inside, stay sane and be patient. There are no quick fixes to this. No amount of shady scientific papers or tweet threads will change any of this. We can find something new every minute of every one of these days, yet, none of it really makes a difference.

Mark Zuckerberg and Existential Threats
It’s not a political movement. It’s not even some coordinated, nicely branded “techlash.” It’s just regular people, watching inaction and outcomes, who are fed up. I know Zuck’s persona of nerdy programmer has long disappeared, but the level of NFL Wide Receiver cockiness is still jarring to hear. but the anger is not the problem to solve, it’s the lung cancer.
