Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX), the author of an early draft of the bill to ban TikTok, has been accused of insider trading. He has recently invested an estimated $1.15 million into TikTok’s competitor company, Meta. X commentator, Meta will profit as an estimated 57% of TikTok users will move to Meta.
