Public Health Reports, 129(2), 19-31 This article reviews SDOH and the impact it has on shaping health; there is a specific focus on the socioeconomic status as an SDOH. This article also brings up explanations as to why SDOH impacts health through biological mechanisms.

Evans, M. (2020). Covid's Color Line - Infectious Disease, Inequality, and Racial Justice. The New England Journal of Medicine, 383(5), 408-410. This article reviews the disparities that covid had between different populations, and attempts to explain as to why that may be the case. this article is a great example of how marginalized and vulnerable populations are not receiving equitable health care.

The author argues more funding for those services is imperative.

Huber, M. (2011, July). Health: How Should We Define it? . British Medical Journal, 343(7817), 235-237. This article reviews the limitations of the WHO definition of health. The author discusses how considering ones ability to adapt to stress or hardships in health could be considered 'healthy' and resilient.
