Alexander Colby is a Zurich based Art Director and Designer at SNK Identities AG since 2010. He studied at the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK and founded the studio xyz.ch ^ visual communication in 2003. Since then he develops functional and appropriate visual communication by following a deliberate conceptional attitude with a focus on corporate design and typography. Inspired by vintage typewriter typefaces he designed in 2005 the slab serif typeface family Lacrima and later the sans serif Generika. In 2010, he co-founded Milieu Grotesque together with Timo Gaessner. Since 2008 he is visiting lecturer at F+F School of Art and Media Design in Zurich. Josh Cochran grew up in Taiwan and California. He graduated from Art Center College of Design with honors in 2005, and immediately began working as an illustrator. Josh teaches at the School of Visual Arts and occasionally fills in as an Art Director for the New York Times Op-Ed page.
