Socialist commune New Harmony, Indiana collapsed. It was recently revitalized by a nepo baby’s oil money.

The Oneida community was a free-love socialist commune saved by selling expensive silverware.
The Amana Colonies were on the brink of failure, until they reformed into a company, selling appliances.

“Sharing” sounds nice, but it encourages some people to not try very hard. Yet someone has to pay the bills.
In this video: socialist communes that faced failure, and were saved by capitalism.
