Low Impact Living Affordable Community

Die Idee ist denkbar einfach: Aufstockung! Auf bestehendem Wohnraum soll neuer Wohnraum entstehen. Ausgehend von der historischen Analyse, einem Blick nach Genf, wo Aufstockungen in den letzten Jahren stark forciert wurden, und vorbildhaften, aktuellen Referenzen aus dem In- und Ausland, entwickeln wir eine konkrete Strategie für Basel. Der Kanton soll ein Dachaufbau-System in vorfabrizierter Holzbauweise entwickeln, womit sich zeit- und geldsparend bestehende Wohnbauten aufstocken lassen. Anhand einer konkreten Fallstudie diskutieren wir technische, räumliche und gestalterische Fragestellungen. Wir bleiben auch den Beweis der ökonomischen Funktionaliät nicht schuldig: In einer fundierten Berechnung unterziehen wir unser Fallbeispiel einer Rentabilitätsanalyse. Zu guter Letzt entwickeln wir ein Programm zur politischen Umsetzung des ‚Basler Dachs‘ in vier Schritten.
