A powerful art exhibit will be featured later this year at Thompson Rivers University. 215 portraits created by Edmonton artist and former Kamloopsian, Johnny Bandura. He made them to honour the children who never returned home from the Kamloops Indian Residential School. This week, Johnny is back in Kamloops for a few days. Daybreak's Jenifer Norwell met up with him.

Coast Salish artist Johnny Bandura's grandmother was a survivor of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School, where hundreds of unmarked graves were discovered earlier this year. His portraits, paying homage to the children, are on display in Edmonton.
