A Cleveland Clinic study shows that six commonly used dietary supplements that claim to improve heart health did not lower Ӣad cholesterolԠwhen compared to a low-dose statin or placebo.
The six dietary supplements studied include fish oil, garlic, cinnamon, tumeric, plant sterols and red yeast rice. Cardiologist Luke Laffin, MD discusses the findings.
