Kinn smiles slowly, pressing down more purposefully. Porsche’s chest rises and falls hard and fast as his breathing speeds up. He likes this. “I could’ve been marking you up the whole time,” Kinn muses. * Kinn finds out Porsche bruises easily, and he takes the chance to leave his mark on him.

“So, what is it that you do?” Porsche asks. “Have you always been attending the swanky events I bartend at, and I just never noticed?” Kinn chuckles, the deep timbre of it going straight down Porsche’s spine. “Trust me, if I had ever seen you before, I would have introduced myself earlier.”

Luo Binghe peeks up at him, eyes rimmed nearly as red as his demon mark. “Shizun won’t send me away from him?” Slowly, almost involuntarily, Shen Qingqiu's arms come up to embrace Luo Binghe in return. He’s already gone totally off-script here, what’s a little more adlibbing? He has fifteen seconds left before Luo Binghe must enter the Abyss. “I won’t,” he says quietly. “But you must be brave, Binghe. This will not be easy, but there is only one place for us to go. Kinn brightens. “So we’re going to fight?” “Mm,” Porsche agrees. “But let’s make it interesting.” “The usual bet?” Porsche nods. A gleam comes into Kinn’s eye, the competitive spice they need to make this a real contest.
