The IPL 2025 is reportedly set to resume soon after the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Earlier, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) had suspended IPL 2025 for one week, amid the escalating military conflict between the two nations. A day before the suspension of IPL 2025, the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match at the HPCA (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association) stadium in Dharamsala had to be called off after just 10.1 overs of action. Subsequently, the Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals players, along with the support staff and IPL 2025 commentators, travelled to Delhi in a specially arranged Vande Bharat train. There have been reports stating that the suspended PBKS vs DC match will be replayed and in that case, there would be a total of 17 matches left in IPL 2025. The new schedule for the remainder of IPL 2025 will be announced by the BCCI in due course.
