🧵 I think I have a very unique & valuable perspective when it comes to SARS-CoV-2. I've spent the 1st three years of the pandemic in one of the the busiest hospital based chemistry/bloodgas labs in the US & the last 20 months as a generalist in a medium sized hospital. 1/

If you think Covid is only an issue for people who are older or who have preexisting conditions (who we should care about anyway but I digress!!!) please take a minute to look at these comments from formerly healthy college kids

I failed my 2nd NYS Road Test. I got confused when the tester asked me to parallel park “beside a Lexus” because we don’t parallel park *beside* cars. Once I was confused, it was all downhill from there. Something is wrong with my brain, & apparently I can’t live in the world…

Asking , from my bedroom, where I'm moored because of , why the CDC isn't recommending masking -- alongside handwashing, vaxes and testing (which they are recommending). Alt text of response from Dr. Brendan Jackson below.

Dr. Amer, Ohio State Univ. on IPM today, "I got COVID three times...after the second time, I suffered from brain fog..it was the most horiftying experience of my life. This was very scary..my job depends on my brain. All of a sudden I couldn't even type...it was really shocking."
