Researchers have developed a new portable virus detection tool using light that can detect COVID in blood and nasal samples in under 25 minutes. It also showed 94% accuracy detecting HIV & hepatitis.
‘LUCAS’ works by using a special enzyme that makes things glow like fireflies.
