I’m not smart. But come on! Covid is airborne and Covid HARMS every bit of your body. How can a highly intelligent Dr NOT KNOW THIS???”

“At the peak of the late-summer Covid wave, U.S. health systems were testing approximately evenly for COVID, flu, & RSV.

Yet, nearly all positive cases were Covid.

PublicHealth guidance must disabuse the myth that Covid conforms to the flu/RSV seasonal pattern.”

As someone who was disabled by Covid in 2020, unceremoniously kicked out of society, & then gaslit by everyone I encountered—which continues to this day—my heart really breaks for entertainers.

“Contract clauses often prevent artists from publicly speaking about Covid while on tour. They have been quietly canceling tours & disappearing, while everyone pretends it’s all very puzzling & mysterious. 🧵”

If you think Covid is only an issue for people who are older or who have preexisting conditions (who we should care about anyway but I digress!!!) please take a minute to look at these comments from formerly healthy college kids

“Those who are the most well-informed about COVID, who know which variants are circulating, how to check wastewater levels, who encourage testing in their social circles and calmly continue to mask in public, have a more adult, emotionally mature relationship with the pandemic. They understand that denial is no remedy for fear, and delusion no refuge.”

Hearing loss. Loss of smell. Movement issues. New onset asthma. Heart conditions. Clots in the legs. Zero connection being made to COVID.

The only thing public health succeeded at is covering their own ass.”

Every other person in SF’s Chinatown is wearing a medical mask right now. Relatively more masking is observed in working class communities of color in Oakland, too. The racial & class bias of mask bans are so clear. So is the cruelty of targeting communities hit hardest by Covid.

Why? What purpose does this suppression serve?”
