“Large organizations are ignoring CDC guidance to recommend people stay home if sick, or at least recommend people mask if they’re feeling unwell. This is the bare minimum, and inadequate to make events inclusive or protect public safety, however major political party events are ignoring even that when holding large gatherings. An example is the DNC in Chicago. The DNC website erroneously claimed they were following current public health guidelines but failed to at least recommend masking for people who were currently sick, as is recommended on the CDC website and the Illinois Department of Public Health website, and the Chicago city government website also points to the CDC recommendations. The resulting superspreader will likely have repercussions in all 50 states.”

Democrats imposed a partial MASK BAN at their National Convention (only disabled people could mask "if necessary") in the middle of the biggest August Covid wave of the pandemic. And during the presentations, Biden and Obama retold the lie that Biden "overcame" the pandemic.

We can’t separate the DNC’s covid outbreak *from* the DNC. The organizers enabled it through failure to mitigate. Just like the Democratic admin is enabling the ongoing pandemic through its failure to fund, support, implement, enforce widespread mitigations like clean air.
