A new global gender divide is emerging
Gen Z is two generations, increasingly conservative young men and progressive female contemporaries, — an ideological split either exclusive to the younger generation or far more pronounced there than among men and women in their thirties and upwards. The key trigger was the MeToo movement of the 2010s which gave rise to fiercely feminist values and speaking out against injustice and outright misogyny.
