Israelis are the rudest and most off-putting people on the planet. Tel Aviv is covered in trash and pornography and filled with mosquitos. They hate each other and hate outsiders even more. Americans are enthusiastic zionists BECAUSE they don't know Israel or Israelis. — The Muslim Thomas Archive (@MuslimThomas)

Democracy Now! on Instagram: "Far-right protesters in Israel, including at least one member of the Knesset, broke into two Israeli military bases on Monday in an effort to prevent military police from detaining nine soldiers suspected of torturing Palestinian prisoners at the Sde Teiman detention center. The nine soldiers are reportedly being investigated for gang-raping a Palestinian prisoner at Sde Teiman, a shadowy prison where where prisoners from Gaza say they have been routinely beaten and tortured. Some prisoners had limbs amputated due to injuries sustained from constant handcuffing."

🇻🇳🇵🇸A restaurant named 'Railway Tuan Café' in Hanoi, Vietnam refused to serve Israelis. “My shop doesn't accept people from your country.” Little did they know that this was actually the best advertisement for the restaurant.

A political economist who grew up in israel got on AJ+ 3 days ago and says israel cannot make it, too many people moving out and more. Israel cannot continue to survive as an apartheid state, and its genocide in Gaza could collapse its own economy. — AJ+ (@ajplus)

He thought he was escaping oppression in his country but found himself documenting what was happening in Palestine. "I spent time here and learned more and more about the occupation and became progressively more horrified and felt it was my obligation and responsibility to do something about it." He started to film attacks in the west bank.

9 Nov 2023: Most of "Israel" is empty, so Palestinian return is actually highly feasible
Did you know that only 6% of "Israel" is still occupied by most (87%) of Jewish Israelis? Almost 90% of "Israel" sits largely empty or is occupied by Israeli soldiers/pine trees. As this excerpt from my recently published article states, Palestinian return is highly feasible. https://twitter.com/sasa_ghada/status/1722326479420207356

25 Sep 2024: Israel was sterilising Ethiopian Jewish women in 2010

Let's say Coates did discuss Black Ethiopian Israelis — including the fact that as recently 2010 Israel was sterilizing Ethiopian Jewish women against their will because the state didn't want too many Black people. Wouldn't this fact paint an ever harsher picture of Israel? — Jeet Heer (@HeerJeet)

In response to criticism from Carly Pildis: "What is fascinating and troubling about Ta-Nehisi Coates analysis of the conflict in Israel is his wholesale erasure of Black and Brown Israelis. There are over 160,000 Black Ethiopian Israelis in Israel. Yet their voices, struggles and existence are missing from his analysis."

20 May 2024: Israeli culture has made them incapable of communicating with the rest of the world
the inherent isolation fantasy of Zionism, the dismissal of pre-Israel Jewish history, the freakishly self conscious attempt to produce an Israeli culture out of shitty trance music and tevas, all of this has rendered Israel incapable of communicating with the rest of the world — leftpain (@left_plain)

Them on Instagram: "The North Hertfordshire Museum in southeast England will use she/her pronouns and the term “transgender woman” when discussing Elagabulus, a Roman emperor who was born in present-day Syria and ruled from 218 to 222 CE before being murdered. The Roman emperor’s identity has been the source of historical debate for decades. “We try to be sensitive to identifying pronouns for people in the past, as we are for people in the present. It is only polite and respectful,” Keith Hoskins, executive member for arts on the North Herts Council, told The Telegraph. “We know the Elagabalus identified as a woman and was explicit about which pronouns to use, which shows that pronouns are not a new thing.” Read more at the link in our bio."
