Quick Tip: I just saved over $100 by checking a subscription’s hidden plan options
here’s the game changer: Make sure you hit the ‘See All Plans’ button on the subscription page. This subscription management page puts a lot of power in your hands. ⌘ In it, you’ll find every pricing option that the app offers. Sometimes it’s just the usual suspects like singular monthly, yearly, and lifetime prices. But sometimes there are way more choices there. In Splice’s case, there were dozens of weekly, monthly, and yearly options at price levels ranging from $3.99 per week to $199.99 per year! And guess what. You can choose to subscribe to any of the choices on that screen.

Privileges is an application for macOS which allows users to work as a standard user for day-to-day tasks, by providing a quick and easy way to request administrator rights. Users can set a timeframe in the application’s settings to perform specific tasks, such as installing or removing an application. To request admin rights, simply click on the Privileges icon in your Dock. Working as standard user instead of an administrator adds another layer of security to your Mac and is considered a security best practice. We believe all users, including all developers, can benefit from using Privileges.
