With a focus on sustainability, quality and fostering a strong sense of community, 122 Roseneath St is a project designed around flexible, shared spaces including a multi-purpose communal room, a bike workshop/laundry and an open terrace with a barbeque area and herb gardens. This 55m2 apartment has been designed for open plan living, with the kitchen located on a side wall to allow flexibility in furniture placement and a cleverly designed small study space behind the bedroom. Set within lush green communal gardens, the art deco Cairo Apartments are a landmark in Melbourne’s architectural heritage. Designed by Best Overend and completed in 1936, they were (and remain) an exercise in minimal living. Architecture architecture have completed a fit-out of one of the Cairo Studio Apartments – an exercise in creating a fully functional abode within a mere 23m2/. In a studio apartment of such modest dimension, the smallest modifications make a significant difference to the feel and functionality of the space. Luserna è un paese del Trentino che ha deciso di offrire l'alloggio a chi decidesse di trasferirsi lì. A Luserna vivono 250 persone, unite tra loro da un forte orgoglio verso la cultura e la lingua cimbra che ancora oggi miracolosamente sopravvive. Come ci ha spiegato Matteo, il Cimbro è una lingua di origine medievale ad oggi parlata da meno di mille persone.
