Off of cS in Stain State, you can end your combo with j236{H} to counter most wake-up options. Just land and meaty with 2H to stuff DPs (use 2K to slide under Ky's) or mashing.
To bait Burst just end in j236H and meaty with 2K.
Combo should work on the whole cast.
You can also end with j236S which lets you follow up with a teleport for a (fake) overhead.
