current thoughts on axl's matchupsby and large not super different though tbh, main difference is Gio. I stand by that Chipp neutral is still more manageable than xrd, but his pressure is insane#GGST_AX https://t.co/caMOEseRPA pic.twitter.com/uYhHLWhOw0— cocojam™ (@cocojamGG) July 30, 2021
For any Axls struggling with the Chipp matchup and j.2K specifically, forget about 2S and try to c.S it. You can legit delete him off a clean counter hit (clip 1) or even a trade (clip 2). This damage is actually ridiculous, lmao. pic.twitter.com/HkZHmGck2D— Dragoomba (@Dragoomba) July 13, 2021
If you block it high, you can super jump air dash over the next one. It’s not the best solution since it’s easy to read and hard to execute, but it’s a straightforward response to a spamming Axl.Besides that, 6P > 63214H is a punish on clash if you’re close enough. https://t.co/edAQmwnpOP— kumikats (@Kumikones) July 28, 2021
One Vision vs Burn it DownEven though Axl freezes time, it seems the initial beam can't be outside of screen, so it follows you if you get too far from it. lolFunny interaction #GGST_AX pic.twitter.com/3r3tChPekM— Mixbox | Applay (@fgcApplay) July 27, 2021
