I this video I'm just dabbling around and found a parry setup that may help out with mashers. Whenever you get that gut feeling it might be the option you need. EARLY TECH, take it as you see fit. Obviously approach with caution and play smart. You can get punished if whiffed lol.

Cross-up PRC Tatami combo. Don't know how effective it would actually be quite honestly. You can do 5H instead of 2H after f.S and do crossup 426H and grab for a double cross-up. Proof of concept. Being tethered allows you to input a iad backdash tatami without a superjump, it seems to beat most wakeup options leaving Baiken is a very favourable position on block or DP bait.
