Counter hit off a 2S › 2H frame trap is a pretty common situation. This route works mid-screen too so this is a safe bet if you're unsure if you will reach the corner. Near the corner there are more optimal combos you can do. Running momentum is not required.

Cool Chipp 2HS (maybe optimal) meterless no counter hit corner combo | GGST
I was bored in training mode and I ended up making this. If anyone already did this combo then sry I didn't know lol. I would also like to know if there is a more damaging meterless not counter hit 2HS combo with Chipp.
Chipp has many post knockdown setups / resets that he can mix his opponent with. This guide just touches on a very small facet of his ever evolving set play. Enjoy and apologies if I misspelled or got something wrong. I'm just winging it here lol.

Not optimal but definitely a fun combo... Had to break the wall with one more gamma blade!
2D in the corner into a Left/Right mix-up using a delayed cancel off the sweep into 236P wallrun, into 4 to jump off the wall into jS. Quite tricky to get the timing down as you need different cancel timings and different amounts of wallrun time to hit cross-up or same side. Against all of the female characters jS whiffs more easily than normal so you might wanna use jD instead. The jump-over same side hit will have to be done a bit slower, but it's still a good mix. 2D and 2S are the same speed so you can also go jS > 2S > 2H if you want to cash out and break the wall after jumping over them
finding applications for the tech I saw at https://t.co/unA8pTAk1Qits not faust specific, although i'm still checking out on who this works on #GGST_CH pic.twitter.com/59StBqOTOT— Zando (@zandowastaken) September 20, 2021
https://t.co/bF4j56gLMU#GGST_CHAfter a lot of work into this doc, I can finally post my very own Chipp Combo Compedium! (CCC for short).I'd like it to reach as many players wanting to learn the character as possible, so if you can, please share this tweet.— Kiwami@MBTLWaitingRoom (@KiwamiCHL) September 20, 2021
#GGST_CH Wall run combo reset with no wall break and oki. I think 5H is most consistent button to do it with. You can also go for jump off 2S->2H->AB*->Super for Wall Break oki if you want. pic.twitter.com/BZcHByODlg— Kajis (@Kajis4E) September 19, 2021
