Not sure if this is known already, but Jack-O can avoid breaking the wall with super after a wall splat if it's spaced properly. #GGST_JC pic.twitter.com/0O1oSdIKvH— Hatyaro (@Hatyaro_) March 31, 2022
I've noticed more and more players starting to optimize their conversions on catching backdash with c.S, and Jack-O' gets a pretty good conversion herself.#GGST_JC pic.twitter.com/gonSAxhQLH— wunguscrill (@wunguscrill) March 28, 2022
I was just messing around with countdown combos when I noticed the explosion would sometimes do way more damage than it normally should (it usually does 10 damage at that point in the combo). It seems to happen when Jack-O gets hit by the explosion first, and then the opponent falls onto the extended explosion hitbox. Maybe when only Jack-O gets hit the game considers the combo to be over and resets the damage scaling? It might be worth investigating other ways to set this situation up, adding 70 damage to the end of a long combo without spending meter is pretty nice.
