Spinning with intent: Anji Mito Guide to using Autoguard in Guilty Gear Strive
Twitch: https://twitch.tv/Klaige
Twitter @Klaige
This Anji guide is going to go into all the details about his Autoguard spin. Breaking down the frame data and interactions with your opponent, and talking about what situations where it can be strong versus those where it is much more of a high risk/low reward option.
I'll go over the basics of the move, how to use it when playing neutral or defensively, and discuss the importance of using autoguard spin in your pressure as well.
Autoguard is often misunderstood as an abusable Gorilla move that can carry an Anji player. This guide should help debunk that ideal and help everyone have a better understanding of what it can do versus where it falls short.
As always please leave any input or questions on the guide and I'll do my best to answer. As always i appreciate all the feedback and support you all have given the channel!

Ah, The 5P RRC usage is strictly a defensive type of play so I can steal back a turn and switch sides when cornered, as well as get back into the strike/throw mix.I find that to be real good when I was messing around in the beta, but I am interested to hear the Nagiha bit tho!— LostSoul (@Lost_Relic) July 22, 2021
#GGST_AN can get a very meaty c.S after throw in the corner. Can be up to +4, but is only kind of auto-timed so it's tricky to get consistently (as shown) pic.twitter.com/3AzT6V6vXp— Patch_FGC (@FgcPatch) July 21, 2021
